need help to uninstall mcafee virus scan

i get and error when i try to uninstall mcafee virus scan pro.i have read there help page it says to force uninstall or remove all from the registry...such a pain any help? on a easier way? please forward to my email,

Seems you are left with the painful way. Blame it on McAfee

Put the McAfee CD in the drive, it should auto-run, the
options that come up when it is already installed are
"repair" and "remove" Works just fine.

I am not a salesman for McAfee. Tried the others and
found it runs smoother than anything else.

I like McAfee too, using version 6 and satisfied. Installed
version 8 on a friends computer last week and it looks OK.
