My media player won't open

Whenever I try to open media player it says "an internal
application error has occurred" and won't open, and
doesn't offer any options to find out more about the
problem or fix it. Up until a few days ago it worked
fine. I have tried restoring the system, running
antivirus and spyware software and reinstalling over it,
but nothing seems to work. Does anyone know how to fix
this? It is rather frustrating.

I read your ? and was wondering if you got it fixed, as i have had the very
same thing happen, and have tried every way to find out how to fix,can you
let me know please? Lindy
