My Computer -> Properties error

Z

Zach

Whenever I selece properties for My Computer, this error
message occurs:

Title: "rundll32.exe - Entry Point not Fount"

Message: "The procedure entry point
RemoteAssistancePrepareSystemRestore could not be located
in the dynamic link library WINSTA.dll"

I believe there is also a tab missing when the window
comes up for properties for my computer; there are 6
tabs: Advanced, Auto Update, Remote, General, Comp Name,
Hardware. For some reason I remember a 7th.

I did a limited search and could not find that file.

Zach,

The System Restore tab is missing.

1. Insert the Windows XP CD
2. Click [Start] [Run]
3. Type the following command and press Enter
"rundll32.exe advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection C:\Windows\Inf\sr.inf"

System Restore core files should be reinstalled.

Alternately, you may also open Windows Explorer, navigate to
"C:\Windows\Inf" folder and right-click sr.inf (choose Install)
