Music and Photo tasks switching

After I downloaded the updated messenger the Tasks on My Music and My
Pictures general files changed and I can not figure out how to change them
back. In the My Music folder I have all the picture tasks available and in
the My Picture folder I have all the music tasks available.

Try to rename the directories using Windows Explorer first? Rightclick the
directory and click Rename. If no go, then you can try the following. You
can create two new directories with any name you choose then copy&paste
the respective files to them. Check to make sure all your music and photo
files are there. Then empty/delete all the files in the old/incorrect
directories. Copy&paste the files from the directories you created to their
respective/correct directories. Depending on how many files you have, hope
you have enough room on your harddrive to do that. Make sure your files are
in the new directories
you created BEFORE deleting anything and/or that they are at least in the
Recycle
Bin in case you make a mistake.
