multiple users

My xp is setup with multiple users. most programs will
not run the same for all users. how can i get an
installed program to work equally across the board?

Doug

Usually during the initial installation you are prompted whether or not you
want the program available to all users or just your self. Each user should
go into the application and configure it for their specific needs and use.
That is one advantage of separate accounts.

Programs that are XP aware will give you the option to make the program
available to all users during the installation. A program that is not aware
of this XP protocol, will only work with the account it is installed on.
Check for updates to the program.

If the program does not work as described, you will need to install it from
within each user account, to the same folder, to make it available to that
user.
