MSN search

I have MSN as my home page and just put in a new hard drive. My problem is
that now when I go to MSN it adds another search area on the left of the
screen. I would like to get it back like it was and just open the MSN
webpage.
Other question is when I do a search on MSN it opens another search which I
believe is Simpli.com. I would rather not have that pop up also. Please
anyone with some help would be greatly appreciated.

Also I just received an error message today saying invalid Syntax.
Thanks

Phil I really don't think that could be the reason because I have all that
you mention and run them daily rather than weekly. Any other suggestions?

Thanks again
