Pop-up message re MSN Search Toolbar

I have a 'Pop-up" message coming up that says 'MSN Search Toolbar. A new
version of MSN Search Toolbar is available. Click here for more information.'

Is this Search Toolbar associated with both MSN Messenger and Real Player or
just Messenger? I have both programs. Also, if I wish to stop this
'Pop-up', can you tell me how to do it?

Many thanks.

Search using Google!
http://www.google.com/
(How-to: http://www.google.com/intl/en/help/basics.html )

Specific examples:

What is the 'MSN Search Toolbar?
http://search.msn.com.my/docs/toolbar.aspx?t=MSNTbar_CONC_AboutMSNToolbarSuite.htm

As for how to stop it.. Good question. I don't use the product or have
setup any that would notify me of its existance. I would bet there is an
option in the application that is annoying you to not check for new
versions.. Probably also a startup registry key or two.. I would start
with that information.

Many thanks for your response.

I have decided, after investigation, that I possibly cannot stop these
'pop-ups' unless I uninstall MSN Messenger. Since it does not happen too
frequently, it is not considered serious and I can live with it.

For sure, it's not associated with Real Player! Micros~1 and Real Player to
not play well together -- at the corporate level, that is.
