I am having the exact error described in the Microsoft Knowledge base
article
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/889320
When you disable the Windows Firewall service on your Windows XP Service
Pack 2-based computer, the Computer Browser service stops after five minutes
and Event ID 7023 is logged in the Event Viewer

Are there any MS people on here that can get me this file? I am running
hundreds of small workgroup networks, and we are moving one of the computers
to XP, we disable the firewall because these computers do not have Internet
access and are on a private network and the firewall breaks one of our
applications. Every single XP system gets this error.

Thanks
Rich

I was hoping Microsoft was watching this, but thanks for stating the obvious
:). That's ok, never mind, one of our people who can access our premier
account downloaded it for me.
