*** STOP 0x000000C2 BAD_POOL_CALLER hotfix?

My Win2000 pro crashes at irregular intervals, and I get a BSD with
the message : *** STOP 0x000000C2 BAD_POOL_CALLER

Searching kb for a cure I found this kb article (820765) :

RESOLUTION
Hotfix information
A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended
to correct the problem that this article describes. Apply it only to systems
that are experiencing this specific problem.

To resolve this problem, contact Microsoft Product Support Services to
obtain the hotfix. For a complete list of Microsoft Product Support Services
telephone numbers and information about support costs, visit the following
Microsoft Web site:
http://support.microsoft.com/contactus/?ws=support
(http://support.microsoft.com/contactus/?ws=support)

But the link target offered little help other than a very long list of new
links to different support options which, when followed finally sent me back
to the
same kb article: (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/820765/en-us)

So I wondered if anybody here knows where the described hotfix is to be
found?

Hello Trond,

You got the link to the support page, so search for support in your region
and PHONE them. You will not find the patch on the MS pages directly like
stated in the article. If you have the described problem you get the hotfix
for free.

Best regards
