movie maker high mat

Help !I made a movie using pictures and music and saved it on cd with high mat. Now it will not work on any other computers that don't have hig mat. How can I get the high mat off of the movie maker?

You can't get it off of Movie Maker 2.... it automatically saves to discs
using a HighMAT menu structure.

If you want to make discs that play on today's DVD players, you need to use
other software. See the CD Burning section of my website for some of the
software apps people are using.

I am using the Movie Maker 1, would it be best to just remove HighMat from my computer?

I forgot to say I am not trying to run a DVD I just want to play a Cd with pictures and music

I think it's best to leave it there.... and understand the difference
between a disc with a HighMAT menu structure versus other discs.

Movie Maker 2 only makes discs with video files on them, even if you are
only using still pictures and music in the project.

If you're burning or playing a disc with a HighMAT menu and image/music
files, then you can't do it with Movie Maker.

How can I save my movie now and not have it go into HighMat? Even If I try a new movie when I save it the HighMat is at the bottom of the screen

When you save your movie, you have 5 choices... use the one that says 'My
computer' and save it to your hard drive. Don't use the one that says
'Recordable CD' if you don't want a video file with a HighMAT menu.

Then use your CD making software to take the saved movie and make a VCD or
SVCD disc from it. Movie Maker doesn't do it.
