I love Movie maker but after finishing and copying to CD I can't get it to
play on any DVD player. I even when out and bought a DVD player that had
High Mat on it. But had no luck in playing CD.
I would like to save a MPEG or some other format if I could. I'm so
frustrated. Please help.

You need to save in from Movie Maker in DV-AVI format, then use your third
party software such as Roxio or Nero to make a Video DVD (note, not a Data
DVD)... and then it will happily play in your standalone DVD player.

Hi
Cari meant to say a Video CD or VCD which you need to burn by using third
party software (since you said cd and not dvd i'm assuming you only have a
cd burner). If you don't have the Roxio or Nero or any others to do the job,
check out AVS Converter. It is what I use all the time for ripping and
changing formats, but it also makes VCD's and SVCD's as well as DVD's.
Check it out at www.avsmedia.com ....you can try out the trial and if you
buy it, its $29.95. Few programs can match the versatility and usefulness of
this program. Good luck.
