Other compatible software for movie maker

I need to save my digital slid show which as music to a DVD and movie maker
High MAT wont do it. I need software that is compatible with movie maker and
will tell me trasfer my files with out saying no compatible file found. I
have downloaded
MyDVD Studio Deluxe 6.1 from Sonic Solutions Promo but it did not work. So I
need to known what software cant I use that will let me make my DVD and Nero
wont let me it tells me no compatible files found also .

Hello,

Currently the best program around is Nero. www.nero.com It requires very
little knowledge to use but if you want to go all the way beyond the so
called High Definition standards currently touted by Microsoft, it will do
that as well. There are a lot of programs "out there" including a lot of
Nerd software....use this prog for this step, another prog for that
step....I'm sure you get the picture. Nero is also rather good when it
comes to editing and special effects. Unlike Movie Maker it does not fall
over if you throw an unusual format at it...actually MM falls over if you
try to use anything other than DV-AVI and WMV. Nero has formats that the
large majority of people will never use. You are not limited to Menu
Formats either, you can choose any of the standard menu systems and edit it
so that it looks exactly the way you want.....I also use it to print my DVD
box labels etc...all in all a very rounded program
