On some installations of Windows 2000, we have encountered missing reg keys
under HKEY_USERS\.Default\Control Panel. What we need is the desktop key so
that we can add a company logo when Windows starts up. We cannot add any
keys to the control panel entry.
Is this some sort of corruption in the registry and can anyone please see if
the have anything inside HKEY_USERS\.Default\Control Panel ?
