Microsoft AntiSpyware Beta1

I have downloaded the Microsoft AntiSpyware Beta 1
program. Seemed to go smoothly, but I am not able to run
a manual scan,(will run on the regularly scheduled scan)
and I am not able to delete the files that were found.

Also, when I call the program up, the main part of the
screen is blank and I just get the tool bar on top.

Gary - I'd recommend two things to try:

1) go to control panel, add or remove programs, Microsoft Antispyware, and
do Change, then Update.

2) If that doesn't change the behavior--just look at the main page and see
if it fills in properly, uninstall the program, download fresh from:

http://www.microsoft.com/spyware/software

and then reinstall--being certain you are logged in as administrator on the
local machine.
