Messenger not starting

ok, windows xp,
all of a sudeden windows live meseenger will not load. it is a process that
is running but will not fully load. I have tried repairing it. but still
the same. The only coincidence i can find is that when i go to shut down.
and the msnmssnger process is running. I get a crtcclient program that needs
to be manually shut down in order for me to shut off the pc. Is this just a
coincidence or is there a conflict with something?

"Live Messenger" is not part of WinXP. Repost (via Newsreader) to
