Crtcclient error on shut down

Since installing (clean) Norton AV 2003 Pro, every time I shut down WinXP
Pro I get a message that Windows cannot end "crtcclient" and when I shut it
down I get a message that the program is not responding.

I cannot find this "crtcclient" program or file anywhere on the computer or
in the registry or in the processes that are running in Windows Task
Manager. Also, there are no references to it in the MS Knowledge base, or on
the Symantec site or even on Google except for a couple of obscure
references to crtcclient in Win98.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks.

I think I found it.

I had NAV set for MS Messenger but don't have MS Messenger on my system.
Once I unchecked MS Messenger in NAV the problem seemed to go away.
