MAPI error with Eudora

I run XP Pro and Eudora 6.1.

My flatmate is set up as a separate user. When she logs on and
launches Eudora she often gets this error message (below). And also
when she closes doen Eudora.

Is this normal? Does anyone else get it? Is something wrong with my
XP settings?

Could not install Eudora MAP system because MAPI.DLL and/or
MAPI32.DLL could not be renamed.

ON LAUNCHING EUDORA : Eudora was unable to update the system
registry. Your default mail prgram has not been changed.

ON CLOSE EUDORA: Eudora could not uninstall Eudora MAPI system
because MAPI.DLL and/or MAPI32.DLL could not be renamed. Do you want
to quit anyway?
