manual dialup connection and internet explorer

I have a manual dialup connection to the internet. When
I'm finally connected, I have to manually click on the IE
icon to load my home page. Is there something in my
internet options or in dialup networking that I can change
in order that the IE browser will automatically open too
my home page when I'm connected? Or does IE always have to
be clicked on manually for it to open?

In IE go to Tools | Internet Options | Connections and select Always dial my
default connection. Then clicking the IE icon should initiate the dialup
connectoid.

All you should have to do is select Internet Explorer and the system should dial, you must insure this is setup in the dial up connection propertys.
