Macromedia Flas player problem in XP

Mary

I have a .swf file which is a Macromedia Flash Player file.

I went to the Macromedia site and clicked on the install Macromedia
Flash Player button.

After a few minutes I was told the installation was successful.

However, the .swf file is still not associated with any program and
there is no Macromedia Flash Player icon or menu on my desktop.

What can I do?

Does it show up in add/remove programs?
Did you try reinstalling from here?

Hi

Were you asked to reboot your system after installing the Flash Player? You
may need to reboot to complete the installation.
