Losing network connection

Using win 2K server with Win 2K Pro clients.
Just installed a new win 2K machine
Connected to domain, OK
Can browse network, can access all machines OK.
How ever if I try & copy a file from another machine to new machine, or run
an app on another machine, lose network connection with server. doesn't
affect other machines.
Logged onto PC as administrator.

From a command prompt;
ipconfig /all
before and after the issue may reveal something.
