llost all applications after Win200 re-install desperate for help

I already had 2000 professional on my computer but had
lost my outlook program. I had my mom send me my disk but
instead of sending office 2000 she sent windows 2000
professional.

Now I can't open any of my MS Office 2000 applications and
unfortunately I don't have the disc to re-install. I
called a repair place and they said that I would have to
change my settings...but they would charge $150 per hour
(the benefits of living in NYC). All my files still show
up but when I try to open a document i.e. word , it asks
for me to install the disc

Is there a way I can fix this without a disc or reverse my
errors?

If possible, keep it simple since obviously I am not a
technical genius....

Thanks from the technically challenged

This cannot be fixed if you have reinstalled the operating system. You will
HAVE to reinstall all thoe apps and your local repair shop is going to tell
you that too. Basically the new install knows absolutely nothing about what
applications were there before.

Just have her send your office 2000 and reinstall it
....it should be pretty easy to get your system going again withiout haivng
to take it to a repair shop
