re-installed windows 2000 professional but now have lost all programs

I already had 2000 professional on my computer but had
lost my outlook program. I had my mom send me my disk but
instead of sending office 2000 she sent windows 2000
professional.

Now I can't open any of my MS Office 2000 applications and
unfortunately I don't have the disc to re-install. I
called a repair place and they said that I would have to
change my settings...but they would charge $150 per hour
(the benefits of living in NYC). All my files still show
up but when I try to open a document i.e. word , it asks
for me to install the disc

Is there a way I can fix this without a disc or reverse my
errors?

Thanks from the technically challenged

The problem is that the re-install of Windows 2000 had
wiped out the registration information for all of the
other non-Windows applications. Quickest and easiest
solution is to re-install MS Office 2000. Attempting to
manually re-create Windows Registry entries would be
tedious and, in this case, expensive. Having a backup
tape or a disk image file would have also been nice to
reverse situations such as this.
