LIVE UPDATE

I have Symantec Norton Internet Security 2004. My live
update shows a red X and tells me to try again later, this
was a day or so ago but it will still not update my
security settings. It tells me to re-install Live
Update. I know how to remove this by add/remove, but do
not know how to reinstall live update on its own. The
information book that comes with Norton shows how to
reinstall the whole package, by disc, but the message
states just re-install Live Update. Please help.

Live Update is a Symantec product and should be avaialble on the support web

I have NortonSystemWorks2003. I paid for live-update on 1/27/04; cannot access it- have gotten multiple Security Alert
1005,1 and 1005,3. Have done everything it says to do four times. Now I cannot access tech support at symantec or Dell
Is this Norton Problem, A Dell problem, or an XP problem. Not even able to run a virus check as I get Active X message. Any thoughts?

You can access Symantec tech support by calling them. Yes, this will be
a PITA, but I really don't see what else you can do. This is a problem
with Symantec's software.
