Linked video not working

I have created a presentation with PowerPoint 2003 that contains video. I've
read several of these discussions that tell me I have to put the video in the
same file as the presentation. Then I'm supposed to delete the original
video files and create new links using the files that are within the same
folder.

I have done this by putting everything in a shared drive folder. When I
view the presentation, it works fine. However, the video clips will not work
for my co-workers. The path is less than the 128 character length as well.
How can I get these videos to play?

You did copy the video file/s along with the PPT file to their computer
didn't you? If this PPT/video is attempting to be played across a network
it could also cause issues.

Send them the video file as well.

As them to put all the files in ONE folder.

Make sure the total FOLDER length is less than 128 characters

eg

c:\test\
