Reinstall the LightScribe software that came with your
DVD recorder and don't use Nero.

This is not an option for me. I am having the same problem and nero is the
software that came with my BENQ DW1625 drive. I have updated my drive with
the latest firmware as well and the latest nero apps. So is there another
solution? Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I spent weeks to solve the problem, but the solution is very simple.
Edit the registry and change the value of the key

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\allocatecdroms

from '1' to '0'.

Restart the system and it will do it's job. :D
