Lexar Jump Drive & Delkin eFilm Reader-16

Have recently purchased 3 new computers for my office with Windows XP
Professional.

I have a Delkin eFilm Reader-16 that will not work in any of these machines.
XP seems to recognize the device, but does not assign it a drive (I can't
find it in Windows Explorer or My Computer). However, I don't think eFilm
Reader is the problem because I also own a Lexar Jump Drive and I am having
nearly the same results when I plug it in. The device manager indicates that
both the Delkin and Lexar devices are "working", but still no drive appears
in Windows Explorer. Also, none of the three machines will start Windows
when the computers are re-started until the devices have been unplugged.

Aaaand ....... both these devices work fine on an XP machine that I have at
home and a ME laptop.

Now that blows my novice trouble shooting mind!!! Any suggestions would be
appreciated.

Have you tried updating the chipset drivers for the computers? How
about updating the BIOS if possible? Also, are you sure you have all
the BIOS settings correct? Finally, what shows up in Disk Management
(Right click on My Computer, click Manage, click Disk Management). If
they show up there, see what you can do with them such as assign them a
drive letter.
