Letting Guest use Internet Connection

S

StuartN

Could someone inform me how I can let a user logged on as Guest have
permission to connect to the internet. IE 6 and WinXP. This is a dialup
connection I am talking about, so I am assuming that they also need
permission to use the dialup connection as well as IE.

Stuart,

Guest account, by design cannot connect to internet. Cannot initialize a RAS connection. But it can use an already ON cable/dsl/lan or already connected dial-up account using Fast user Switching.

Dial-up connections might terminate while switching users. To prevent that, download:

Make a new limited account for guests, you can limit their
access to programs but they can use the default dial-up
connection.
