Latest WindowsUpdate patches not installing

The following patches are not installing:

a.. Security Update for Microsoft Data Access Components (KB832483)
a.. Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1
(KB867801)

I wish the site told you why, any ideas?

You need to be more detailed in your question. What is your system, how
are you trying to do the updates, automatic updates? download from the
windows update catalog? What happens when you try to do the update?
Any error messages? -- list them verbatim. Be specific to help those
who want to help you. Also you should post your question to the experts
in the windows update newsgroup. Here is a link for that group:
