Kodak EasyShare software problem

K

Kay

I have downloaded Kodak EasyShare software. When I try
to install it, I get the error code 14x21x126x which tells
me the MS Windows Installer used by the EasyShare software
installer failed to load a library file. I am then
referred to a Microsoft Knowledge article - 315346 talking
about making changes to my registry.

I do not have enough experience to do anything with my
Registry. I am using Windows XP.

Does anyone have any other suggestions or ideas?

Kay, If KB 315346 explains that your computer requires changes to the
Registry and you don't feel confident to make the changes, find a friend,
colleague or other person to make the changes for you. If the KBA describes
your problem exactly and states you need changes to the Registry then the
only solution to your problem is probably a Registry change.

A side note: I'm using Pro with the same software and have
experienced no problems. It installed without a hitch and runs like a
charm. Sounds like a problem with your system.
