Another IE7 and Kodak Easyshare question

R

Rick

Since I've installed IE 7.0.5730.11IC, Windows One LiveCare, and upgraded
Kodak EasyShare to 6.0.1.20, I haven't been unable to send my pictures thru
EasyShare Email. I can upload my pictures to there gallery but not with
their Email software. I keep getting message "unable to connect to the Kodak
Email server.
I've called Kodak and they said to remove Windows Live OneCare. I did this
and turned off Windows Firewall. Still not working. Next phone call to Kodak
said it was my server causing the problem. My next call to my internet
provider told me to turn my security down in Internet Explorer. I did this.
Next email from my server said it was a Microsoft problem.
Any ideals? Thanks

You should post your question in the IE7 newsgroup *after* you spend
some time reading through the posts there. The IE7 newsgroup is:

microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

There are a huge number of posts so it would be smart to start by going
to Google Groups Advanced Search. Use a search term that describes your
problem, constrain the search to the IE7 newsgroup and the date to very
recently. You can also check MVP Sandi Hardmeier's canonical IE7 site.
Sandi has workarounds, known issues, troubleshooting, and links. This
may be the only site you need.

And no, I'm sorry but I don't have your answer or I would tell you now. ;-)
