This is a unique feature. I'm trying to talk the author
into a high bit ASCII filter to instantly delete all the
"›œ¼±´»¿ÀÆÇÈÍ" sometimes found in DIZ and NFO files.

DIZ & NFO files? Wherever do you encounter those? :)

re:Multi-Program-Launcher.
Oh, you have a copy. Email it to me and I'll add it to the web site.

I ended up reading the thread backwards somehow. Top posters are to
blame <G>.

I've just sent it, REM. Thanks very much.

Sure wish more people used assembler. I'm anti-bloat :)

Yea, me too.

There's a cool little OS coded in assembler that fits on a 1.44 FDD. If MS
would work at it, I bet they could reduce XP from ~1GB to ~200MB. I bet it
would run a lot faster, too.

You wanna learn how to drive a sig sep or you wanna wait for Rod to get
on your case?

Her sig is fine in my newsreader, and like I said before, my next obsession
will be offline.

Most people tend to put the sig sep *before* their name :)

Know what you mean, just like to brag about my newsreader and the fact that
I got liberated from my obsession.

Juggling, can handle three balls, obsession is four.
You gotta gf?

And jr. Pleasant 'obsession' for many years already :)

One I use at every session is Multi-Program-Launcher. It's a 40k no
install program which allows you to launch up to five programs, with
arguments, after which it shuts itself down. I know that there are
other programs of this type which will do more, but not for 40k, I
suspect :) It's a model of simplicity.

Sadly, it no longer seems to be hosted anywhere and the contact email
given in the program cannot now be resolved. So it's an orphan, but I
can upload it to the binaries group if anyone should want it.

WHere was it? I want to see if it's the same as Wollrath MultiLauncher,
that I have on my site. Can host if it is (or if you have the other one).
