kiosk mode 5 minute reset

I wish to disseminate a packaged for CD show in kiosk mode. Presently, the
show resets to the first slide after 5 minutes of inactivity. I don't want
that. I understand that there is a free fix download but that this software
must be present on the PC running the show. Does this mean that every
recipient of the packaged CD must also download/install the software? Are
there other solutions?

Yes, that's true.

I don't know of any other workaround. When you distribute on CD using the
Viewer, you are limited -- the Viewer won't run code.
