KIOSK Problems - Asking again, really need help with this.

This is a several layered problem:
1. The kiosk setting does not reset as it claims after 5 minutes of
inactivity. Why? And is there a fix?
2. I have audio on each slide, and each slide must be transitioned by the
viewer (there are timing requirements that must be met). The transitions
work perfectly. EXCEPT... in instances where a viewer has two monitors. If
the ppt is showing on one monitor and the view clicks anywhere else (i.e. to
multitask) the audio stops. I actually like that part. The problems begin
when the viewer returns to the program. The slide begins the audio track
over at the beginning. I even like that part (that will teach them not to
let their mind wander). However, if the audio is, for instance, 2 minutes
long and the viewer clicks out of the screen 1 minute into it, when the
viewer returns the audio starts at the beginning and only plays for the
remaining amount of time, in this instance, another minute, thus leaving the
last part of the audio to never be heard.

I have currently included a "speaker" button that will restart the audio if
clicked, but that is not the option I want to use. Is there any other
solution?

Hi Renee

As Echo said.

To make the sound start where it left off try using a linked sound rather
than an embedded one. Either use a format other than wav or reduce the
setting in 'Link sounds with file size greater than' to below the file size
and then delete and re-insert the sound.
