KB832894 patch fixes IE6 double-scroll bug

FYI:

MS just fixed the double-scroll bug in their latest IE6 patch, released
today (KB832894).

This bug fix is not documented in the patch information, but this latest
patch
silently fixes the double-scroll bug introduced in the Q824145/K824145
"update".

Thanks for the information. I downloaded the patch yesterday but didn't
realize this was part of it. I haven't been using the scroll for so long now
because of it I probably wouldn't have noticed this correction.

the double-scroll bug is as follows:

when you click above or below the "thumb" in a IE6 scroll-bar, IE6 should
scroll by just one screen at a time. the bug causes it to scroll by 2 or
more screens, so you cannot scroll screen-by-screen by clicking in the
scroll-bar above or below the "thumb". this is now fixed.

intrestingly, MSFT did not mention that this latest IE6 cumulative patch
fixes this bug they introduced in the previous IE6 cumulative patch...
