blast 32 virus...which patch update?

my computer is not infected with blast32 shutdown virus
yet. im trying to install the latest patch from this
website:

i have windows xp professional. on the website..it listed
patch for windows xp 32 and 64 bit version. which one
should i use? is the 32 bit the xp home edition and 64
bit is the professional edition?

32 bit version for home or pro.

when i click on the 32 bit link...it said "Sorry, we were
unable to service your request. As an option, you may
visit any of the pages below for information about
Microsoft services and products"

then i went to clicks on windows update link and scan for
update on my computer...it said that all my computer needs
is sp1 for xp. does sp1 include the latest patch for the
blaster 32 worm update?

No, Home is only 32-bit, but Professional comes in both 32-bit
and 64-bit versions. But regardless of whether you have Home or
Professional, you have the 32-bit edition. Anybody who has to ask
the question is running the 32-bit version. The 64-bit version
requires special hardware. It and the hardware have come down in
price, but are still substantially more expensive than the
standard consumer PCs you see around. Very few home users are
using it.
