Juno sometimes shuts down entirely to desktop using DISCONNECT BUT

This has been been happening for nine months. I have called Juno talked to
numerous techs, each one has different ideas to try, but after trying all
their suggestions I am still having the same problem. We have changed all
kinds of internet settings, etc. The latest tech, yesterday suggested I
could have corrupted files in Microsoft Internet Explorer and asked if I had
my CD with XP on it. I am not computer literate. I have one CDthat I can
find that came with my Compaq. It says Compaq Color Monitor Series. When I
bought the computer everything was loaded. Should I have such a CD as an XP
program? Sometimes when this shutdown happens I get an error message that
asks if I want to report the problem. I say yes and something is saved.
Where is it saved? How do we find out what it is? If I could print this
perhaps it would help with Juno. I don't think files are corrupted because I
have tried other IPs and had no problem. I do not want to change IPs because
of email address. Any suggestions how I can find this error message?

The Recovery Disk that came with your computer will have Windows on it. If you did
not get a recovery disk, call your vendor and insist they send it. When you get the
error message and are asked to report the error there should be a details button on
the screen. Click the button, the details will give you a clue...
Have you updated your modem driver?
That said, you can download the Internet Explorer from the Microsoft download page.
