javascript don't work

Last night I posted popups don't work.

Actually Javascript doesn't work. I went to tools-->security-->custom,
and made sure everything was enabled under scripting.

The error, when I click on the error symbol looks like this.

Line 133
Char 2
Error: The callee (server(not server application)) is not available and
disappeared; all connections are invalid. The call did not execute.

URL: http://www.foxnews.com

I ran Adware last night and it found a dialer malware in the background.
It deleted that and the related registry keys.

Could this be the result of the leftovers from that? Believe this
problem actually started when I did one of the windows updates.

I would like to run "Hijack this" on my computer, but all the sites are
under attack.

BTW, NS 7.0 works fine with JS.

Try LSP-Fix - a free program to repair damaged Winsock 2 stacks

I tried that (because it was easy to do)--it still doesn't work. Guess
I'll try the Winsock repair now.
