Frameless popup windows problem - Javascript and IE6

I have been using a simple javascript script on my
website. This creates a frameless popup window (of
specific size and in a specific position) without
difficulties in IE5, but having upgraded to IE6 an
irritating problem has emerged.

The frameless window is evoked OK, but as a full screen;
so IE6 is ignoring both the specified size and positioning
lines in the javascript. This is not happening in
Netscape, not did it happen in IE5 or 5.5.

The Javascript seems watertight, and so I am wondering
what the possible cause of this problem might be?

(I am running IE6 from an ADSL connection, and have
checked my firewall to make sure that popups are allowed;
and that the options in IE6 to make sure scripting is
correctly turned on, which it seems to be.)
