If you connect through a home or company network your PC will also have a
private network address, you can find this by going start>run and typing the
word CMD in the text box and pressing enter.

Next type ipconfig /all

ipconfig space /all, it is not all one word.

One way is to begin with
Start > Run > command

In the resulting window, type:
ipconfig
and hit the Enter key.

To close the window, type:
exit
