looking for my ip address. . .have "run" winmsd.exe. . searched for ip
address and it shows as
"not available". . . where can i find my ip address???? thanks for any help

or If you have a router, simple way is visit
http://www.canyouseeme.org/

or do it the hardway, open your browser input such as 192.168.x.x (
depends on made of your router ).

Which IP address? The one that's seen from the net or an internal one
on your internal LAN. If the former go to http://www.whatismyip.com/
