Internet Explorer Script Error

Mike

I am having a problem enabling my Norton Anti Virus
software. Everytime I choose the enable button I get an
Internet Explorer Script Error that states that an error
has occurred in the script on this page.

line: 887, char: 5, error: unspecified error, code: 0,
URL: res://C:\PROGRA~1\NORTON~1\NORTON~1
\NAVUI.dll/navstata.htm

It then asks if i want to continue running scripts on
this page. If I could find my Norton cd I would just
reload the software, assuming that would correct the
error. My question is: What is this error? Is there
anything I can do to fix it without reloading the
software?

Mike,

This is more of an issue to take up with Symantec
Support, however, I did find an article which listed some
problems with that file on the Symantec knowledge base,
it's not exactly the same error, but I would assume the
same logic / fix process applies.

Excuse the URL (you may need to reassable it in notepad
first)

Hope this helps
