Internet Explorer problems

I am having an issue with Internet Explorer 6. On alot of
pages I get "This page cannot be displayed" or "Action
cancelled" messages on various parts of the page, usually
where ads are supposed to be. Also, pictures are not
always displayed, there is a red X where they are
supposed to be. Finally, text is not always formatted
properly on web pages. The text will be cut off, like
there is another layer covering parts of the text.
I have tried re-installing IE and repairing Windows (XP
Home, by the way).
Thanks in advance for any help.

I am having the same issues with IE 6. I also can't seem
to get the Connection/LAN settings to keep the selection
of use Auto detection instead of use proxy server.

When using Citrix ICA client I have to go into the
registry and disable the proxy and then go to the Citrix
app. When I check again the proxy is enable again.
