IE6 not loading webpages correctly

On webpages where there are ads displayed, IE6 is not loading the ads
correctly. In the frames where the ads are supposed to be, it either says
"The page cannot be displayed" or there is the red X in the box. Everything
else on the page loads correctly. I'm a novice and I'm not quite sure how to
fix it. I'd appreciate any help or advice in fixing this issue.

Thanks!

Does Spyware Doctor modify your hosts file (that's what's causing the
behavior)? I dunno cos I don't use/run it. Nothing in Defender would cause
this.

You could use Hoster to restore your hosts file: Download from
http://www.funkytoad.com/download/hoster.zip > Extract contents of zip file
to desktop & run it > Press "Restore Original Hosts" > Press "OK" > Exit the
program.

Thanks, PA Bear!!! That seemed to do the trick and everything is loading
properly. I greatly appreciate the help and thanks again!

YW but I'd want to find out what caused the hosts file to be modified in the
first place.
