Internet Explorer Hangs

My Internet Explorer 6.0 hangs frequently when changing
web sites. I then have to stop and restart the browser.
Using the Knowledge Base, I have found an article that I
believe will fix the problem but do not know how to get
the fix (Acticle Number 818506). Any ideas?

Also check in at Windows Update: Tools>Windows Update (anti-virus disabled,
please).
