Bizarre hanging problem

I have been having curious problems with IE6 SP1 when
viewing (oddly enough) Hotmail pages! Whenever I am in
Hotmail's website, the window "hangs", meaning I get the
good old hour glass, and if I task-switch out and back
into it the window does not repaint. It seems to recover
after a minute or so, but this problem happens every time
I move to a new page on Hotmail!!!

I looked into this on the knowledge base and found the
following:

but I am reluctatnt to call MS and incur the tech support
charges.... Anyone know about this problem??

Make sure it's not caused by some parasites.


Remove all the parasites on your computer.
Delete all the spywares and bad BHOs from your system.

If still no joy then call MS. Just ask about that fix and
there will not be any charges.
