install windows xp professional

Hi,
I tried installing xp professional on a computer that
already had xp home and I received the following error
message: The procedure entry point GetIUMS could not be
located in the dynamic link library MSDART.DLL Can
anyone help me? Thank you, Fred

hi, can ou do a fresh install of window XP Pro? meaning format the drive and
start from the begining.
