I am new to Access 2003. I have two tables with identical fields. What is the
easiest way to copy or merge the records from one table into the other. I
tried "cut & paste" but that didn't work.

Assuming there is not issue with duplicates, the easiest way would be to
create an append query that would append the records from one table to the
other.
If you are using an autonumber field or any fields in the table being
appended to require unique values, you will have to address those issues.
