IE toolbar settings

I arrange my toolbars,address bar,links etc in IE to the
way I want them and click on lock the toolbar but
everytime I reboot or logoff they go back to their
default setting and I have to go back and rearrange them
all. How do I get them to stay the way I want them? Am I
missing some obvious setting? TIA

Let me guess - you have an HP PC.

You need to disable autotkit.exe from your startup. I just discovered this yesterday.

I also have this problem on my HP a350y but did not find
the file "autokit.exe" anywhere on the HD.

Suggstions?
