IE FTP

I am having trouble with IE FTP, I try to connect to an FTP site in
the browser, and it just hangs there. If I use another browser like
Mozilla, it pops right up. A co-worker tried the same site on his pc
using IE, and it works for him no problem. I am up to date on Windows
updates, and can ftp command line no problem, I also defaulted all IE
settings just incase. Any ideas??

I found the solution... I went into IE->Tools->Internet
Options->Advanced and checked the box (Use Passive FTP) and magically
FTP worked in an IE browser.
