WinXP2, IE6 FTP not working

Hello,

Recently, my FTP functionality stopped working in my IE6 browser.

I always receive "Can not find server or DNS Error"

I tried changing my "Passive FTP" setting and my "Show friendly HTTP
messages" setting, to no avail.

If I use a command line ftp, it works fine.

If I try anonymous, which the browser is defaulting to, it most likely
receives the "530 User anonymous cannot log in." error from my ftp server (I
checked the logs).

Why isn't IE prompting me with a security login box?

Have you tried:
ftp://usernameassword@ipaddressort

or if you try anonymous then File -> Log on as...
